Enterprise Architect - Warsaw

What does a successful Enterprise Architect do:

As an experienced and dynamic Enterprise Architect in our team in Warsaw, you will be responsible for working closely with our product delivery teams and for aligning local solutions with enterprise strategy.  You will play a critical role in shaping the architecture and technology solutions that support our business objectives, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our digital transformation journey, driving innovation and efficiency across the organisation.

What you will do:

  • Assess the current IT landscape and architecture, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation
  • Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with the business goals and enterprise strategy
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of architecture artifacts
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the organisation’s architecture and making recommendations for adoption
  • Work with engineering teams to develop prototypes and proof of concept applications to prove new architectures and technologies
  • Collaborate with global teams to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.

What you will have to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, ideally in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated success in identifying opportunities and delivering transformation projects through the effective application of enterprise architecture principles
  • In-depth understanding and hands on experience with cloud computing, microservices, APIs, messaging and modern architecture patterns
  • Experience with enterprise-wide integration, including both on-premises and cloud-based systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into architectural designs
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to guide development teams in architectural best practices 
  • Fluent English and Polish.
