Director of User ExperienceWhat does a successful Director of User Experience do at Fiserv?
You will play a critical role in shaping the digital experience across Fiserv’s diverse product offerings and will oversee the UX strategy and execution within the Digital Experience Office (DXO) and the Digital Design Center of Excellence (DDCoE), while also engaging in hands-on design work.
With your deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a passion for innovation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive excellence in product design, you will bring your proven track record of leading successful UX initiatives in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment to create user-friendly elements for Fiserv.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive UX strategy that aligns with Fiserv’s business goals and enhances the overall digital experience for clients and users
- Actively participate in the design process by creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for key projects, demonstrating best practices in user experience design
- Establish clear performance metrics and goals for the UX team, ensuring alignment with the broader objectives of the DXO and DDCoE
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to integrate UX best practices into the product development lifecycle.
- Serve as a key liaison between the DXO, DDCoE, and various business units (Banking, Issuing, Fintech, Payments) to ensure a cohesive approach to design and user experience
- Oversee user research initiatives to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating findings into actionable design recommendations.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership, demonstrating the value of UX in driving business success
- Advocate for the importance of UX within the organization, influencing stakeholders at all levels to prioritize user-centered design
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in user experience design
- 5+ years in a leadership role (overseeing and managing projects as well as external partners)
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Fintech/payments domain experience
- Experience with AI technology
- Agency experience
- 8+ years of experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)

Salary Range
$129,400.00 - $217,900.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
