What does a successful Emerging Markets Compliance Manager do at Fiserv?The Emerging Markets Compliance Manager is a senior compliance professional with in-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within high-risk verticals, such as gaming, sports wagering, money services businesses, and cryptocurrency. This role is crucial for mitigating risk exposure to Fiserv by identifying activities that pose significant reputational or regulatory risks. The position involves working on highly complex issues with high-profile clients and managing various business programs and processes.

What you will do:

• Provide guidance on legal, regulatory, and compliance programs, processes, and procedures to various levels within the functional unit.
• Review and analyze new and existing business opportunities in payment acceptance channels; provide detailed recommendations and risk assessments aligned with regulatory requirements and Fiserv strategies.
• Execute compliance monitoring and testing for various verticals.
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and programs to minimize risk.
• Foster a common vision and provide clear direction and priorities for their area of responsibility within FCC and outside the department.
• Supervise professional and administrative staff within the functional unit and across multiple geographic locations as needed.

What you will need to have:

• 6+ years of experience in retail, consumer financial services, or payment services organizations, or a regulatory agency, or a law firm involving payment services compliance issues.
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of regulations within the banking/financial services industry and retail/commercial financial products/services.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

• 7+ years of experience in working within high-risk verticals such as gaming, sports wagering, money services businesses, and cryptocurrency.
• Advanced certification in compliance or regulatory management.
• Experience representing organizations at industry events and providing subject matter expertise on payments processing.
• JD or other graduate degree.
