Recruitment fraud is a deceptive practice in which malicious actors use fake job listings to manipulate job applicants into disclosing personal data or providing payment as part of the recruitment process. Fake job listings are often falsely portrayed as originating from well-known companies and may be communicated in multiple ways including web sites, email, and phone calls.

We are aware of instances of fake job listings that claim to originate from Fiserv, but that do not in fact originate from Fiserv and are not approved by Fiserv. We will not send a job applicant a check; however, a fraudulent recruiter may promise to do so in an effort to obtain the job applicant's financial account information.
  • All emails from Fiserv have email addresses ending in "@fiserv.com."
  • You will never be asked for payment in order to be considered for a job at Fiserv, financial account details, personal information without first being asked to apply for a position through Fiserv.com/careers or interviews using third party sites such as Zoom or Google Hangouts.
  • If anyone presenting themselves as a recruiter claims their use of non-Fiserv email accounts or third-party video communication sites, it may be recruitment fraud.
  • Our hiring process typically takes several weeks. Therefore, if someone presenting themselves as a recruiter indicates the process must be completed in a short timeframe, it may be recruitment fraud.

To avoid recruitment fraud, please be aware of these details of our recruitment process:

If you think you have been a victim of recruiting fraud, you may notify the Federal Trade Commission.

If you think you have encountered someone falsely representing themselves as a Fiserv representative, please email: JSOC@fiserv.com.

If you have a resume ready to upload or will apply using your LinkedIn Profile, this can take as little as five minutes. If you are manually inputting your background, experience, education and skills, the process will take a little longer; however, it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. Either way you apply, please make sure you include as much detail about your education, experience and skills as you can to ensure the recruiter can effectively match you to the requirements of a position.

The system only requires you to input your name and contact information and then answer some basic demographic questions; however, for the best chance of getting to the next steps, make sure you include your previous experience, education and skills. When adding your education, please keep in mind that most of our jobs require a high school diploma or equivalent and some positions may require an associate's degree or higher. You can provide this by attaching a resume, using your LinkedIn profile or manually adding this information into the application.

Some Fiserv job postings do contain a pay scale for the position where required by applicable law. At Fiserv, we believe in a performance-based compensation philosophy. Every position, based on level in the organization, has a potential pay range, which will vary based on past skills, experience, location, and market conditions. Because of this variability, we encourage an open discussion about compensation requirements with your recruiter. As well, Fiserv compensation includes more than wage and base salary. For more information on our total rewards packages, visit our Benefits page.

We're thrilled when our associates share opportunities via referrals. First, in the "How did you hear about us?" section of the application, be sure to select "Associate Referral." You'll be prompted to include the associate's full name in a separate field.

Congratulations - your skills and experience have brought you this far. Remember, being prepared for an interview can set you apart from your competition. Here are some tips and tricks from some of our recruiters:

  • Be punctual; if you are having an in-person interview, give yourself extra time to get there
  • Make a good first impression, dress professionally
  • Be yourself
  • Bring a portfolio of your work if it's applicable to the opportunity
  • Understand the duties and responsibilities of the role for which you are interviewing
  • Research the company ahead of time and understand the business
  • Prepare questions that you may have for the interview in advance

Our hiring managers employ several different styles of interviewing, based on the role within the company. If you are chosen for an interview, your recruiter will prep you for the interview types that you will go through. Many interviewers will ask you to describe specific examples where you have demonstrated certain competencies following the STAR approach.
  • Situation - What was the role, what company and when
  • Task - What was the challenge, problem or issue
  • Action - What actions did you take specifically to overcome the problem
  • Result - What was the outcome and were there any measure of success

We strive to communicate with all candidates about the status of their application. Your Candidate Home profile will show you the current status of your application, and you may also receive an email. Some emails my be delivered to you via the system; therefore, you will want to ensure emails from fiserv@workday.com do not end up in your junk/spam folder.

Fiserv strives to make this site accessible to any and all users. If you would like to contact us regarding accessibility of our website or need a reasonable accommodation in completing the application process, please call Fiserv at 877-527-5372, or contact us by email to: AskHR.us@fiserv.com, or by mail at: Fiserv, Inc., 600 N. These screens typically include drug test, criminal check, credit history, employment and education verification and personal references. Other screens may be applicable based on the position for which you are applying and where you live; your recruiter will go through these with you at the appropriate time in the process.

Successful completion of these screens is required prior to your start date. HireRight is our background check vendor for North America, LATAM, APAC and EMEA. Feel free to check out HireRight's Candidate Background Check FAQ page to learn more about their processes. If you have specific concerns regarding your background and would like further information, please talk with your recruiter or ask to speak with a Human Resources manager.

If employment is denied because of information in a consumer report, Fiserv will advise you in writing and give you the name and address of the reporting agency making the consumer report, a copy of the report and a copy of a "Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act."
