Fiserv AI in Recruitment
At Fiserv, we work in a way that embodies our values, including a focus on doing the right thing. We aim to lead with transparency and integrity, and we expect candidates to do the same. We want to get to know the authentic “you” – your skills, your achievements, your perspectives, and your dreams.
While we value innovation and the AI tools that have become commonly used during the recruitment process, we have a few guidelines to follow should you choose to use AI at any stage of the recruitment process.
- Cover Letter and Resume/CV: AI can be helpful in reviewing your grammar or formatting, but the information should be accurate and reflect your true skills and experience.
- Application: While AI can fill out applications quickly, you are responsible for reviewing each job application for accuracy and honesty.
- Interview Preparation: To get ready for interviews, candidates should feel empowered to use methods to feel best prepared, which may include using AI tools for mock interviews or generating potential questions.
- Interviews: As a critical part of the hiring process, interviews are the best opportunity for us to learn about you. Your responses should be genuine and rooted in your true experiences and knowledge. Using AI-generated responses may lead to disqualification.
Above all, we expect you to engage with us in good faith and to not misrepresent your skills, experience, or qualifications. Any falsification or misrepresentation of your background may lead to disqualification from the recruitment process at Fiserv.
While Fiserv is leveraging AI to elevate our business and to enhance the candidate experience, our goal is to communicate with candidates with transparency and care. Where permitted by local legislation, Fiserv recruitment teams may use AI tools (with a human in the loop) to assist them in the following ways, which may change in accordance with business needs:
- Job Descriptions: We may use AI tools to help draft job descriptions, which are then reviewed for accuracy in alignment with job requirements and our job architecture.
- Outreach: We may use AI tools to identify potential candidates for job openings and draft messages before reviewing and adding a human touch.
- Interview Scheduling: We may use AI tools to streamline interview scheduling and send automated follow-up messages to ensure candidates stay informed throughout the interview process.
- Interview Questions: We may use AI tools to assist in crafting questions relevant to the requirements and skills outlined in the job description.
Our focus in the recruitment process is human connection; AI cannot replace that. These methods of AI usage are designed to streamline processes and, ultimately, create a better experience for you.
