What does a successful Cloud Automation Engineer Intern do at Fiserv?

As a Cloud Automation Engineer Intern, you will be part of our team at Fiserv. You will help us create and manage computer systems in the cloud. You will learn how to use special tools and lessons about making things work automatically. Your work will help our team build solutions that are fast and easy for our customers.

What you will do:

• Help develop templates and scripts that make it easier to set up and manage cloud resources using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Learn to create applications and interfaces using Python.
• Work with different teams and help them understand how to build and design systems.
• Write easy-to-read documents and draw diagrams that show how our systems work together.
• Talk with team members to understand what is needed and help design solutions that fit the goals of our company.

What you will need to have:

• Pursuing a degree in a bachelor's program with a technology, mathematics, cyber security or data sciences major 

• Expected graduation between December 2025 and June 2027

• 3.0+ GPA

What would be great to have:

• Good teamwork skills, with the ability to explain ideas to both technical and non-technical people.
• Some experience in infrastructure engineering or related areas, especially with automation and coding. Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Python.

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
